Experience: 3 Term County Commissioner serving 1st District
Why Running: I am a native of Coalfield and am committed to the community. I have served 3 terms as a commissioner to work toward improvements. Some of those are an upgraded convenience center, the elementary wing at the school, the parking area across from the school was developed with future plans of working toward improving the flow of traffic at the 4-way stop. I wish to continue to use my education, training and experience to professionally serve the 1st district – experience counts.
Top Issue Beliefs: 1) Economic growth through development of the county industrial parks. 2) Continued emphasis on education to supply a desirable workforce. 3) Continue improvements in the sheriff and emergency services departments. 4) Working with the state of TN to continue the Hwy 62 project. All with a continued knowledge of the restraints of the county’s ability to afford improvements.
