Profession: Retired Educator/Work part-time in Congressman Lincoln Davis' office as a Field Representative four days a week/City Recorder for Oakdale
Education: Masters in Administration/Supervision; over 40 years as teacher/principal/superintendent of schools.
Family: Married to wife Vera; two children, Todd and Meredith who are both married; four grandchildren ranging in ages 1 to 14. Son of Mark and Delta Scarbrough. Mark was a long time Commissioner and school board member in Oakdale area.
Organizations: Member of Piney Baptist Church; NEA and MCRTA
Experience: Past director of schools; last one in county to be publicly elected as “Superintendent”; Commissioner - 3rd time this race; running unopposed with colleagues Fred Snow and Kay Johnson.
Why Running: To be a voice for the people in my district; to represent their views and to protect the Morgan County taxpayer.
Top Issue Beliefs: Taxes, education and promoting community growth and development through a well organized planning commission.
